For sale :)

This stamp set has now been sold :)

Hi everyone, i wonder if any of you lovely crafters would like to buy a stamp set from me, i tried to put it onto ebay but because i dont have a house phone (only a mobile) i can't register to sell, bloomin annoying too as i had set up a sellers page , oh well, so i thought i would try my luck and post the stamp set here, so what is this stamp set i hear you cry, well here it is with all the details :)

This stamp set is by Crafty Secrets, and its from their Clear Art Stamps range, the set is called Bird Notes, i bought these stamps online a few weeks ago but when they arrived i realized that they were too arty and vintagy for my style, now dont get me wrong they are beautiful stamps, it just that i have absolutly no clue on how to use them as i am not used to this style.

The biggest stamp in this set (row of birds at the bottom) is approx 3 x 7 cm in size so they are perfect for both cardmaking and ATC's :)

These stamps are still brand new and in their packaging

I am selling these stamps at £6.50 plus 99p delivery ,They were purchased at £10.87 so thats a saving of £4.37 (not including delvery)

They will be sent First Class Recorded Delivery most likely the day after payment is received

So if you are interested in buying these stamps then please contact me here :)

Stampin Chic sketch 2

This weeks challenge over on the Stampin Chic blog is a fab sketch which clare has drawn up :)

Here is my take on the sketch :)

I really enjoyed making this, especially as it was my first bit of crafting since my computer got ill, i didnt feel up to crafting when my computer was off being repaired, not too sure why, but now its back and working (for now anyway) and i can get back into my normal and happy routine of crafting :), so as you can see i started with the fab sketch for clares stampin chic blog :),i was going to flip the sketch around but then decided against it at the last minute, i thought it would be better to follow the sketch as Clare had designed it :), the flowers on this card are made by simply stamping the flowers from Clare curds signature range doodles stamp set onto some paper from the simply elegant pad using an ink it up embossing ink pad and then covering and heating with heat it up gold embossing powder, i must admit it has been ages since i have heat embossed on any of my creations (as you could tell by the mess on my table hehe) but i enjoyed it and i plan on doing it again as i have some other gorgeous powder colours yet to be used :), the circle with the pink brad that is placed below the main flowers is actually a circle cut out from the simply elegant paper pad :), one of the papers has four circles on it and as soon as i saw it i knew it would be great to cut it out and use it as the main circle which Clare has put on her sketch :), anyway enough of my ranting, i will leave you with the ingredients list and be sure to stop by the next couple of days as i have a sugar nellie card to show you which i made before my computer broke and also my take on this weeks challenge for magnolia vs stampavie, see you soon :)

Apologies

Hi all just want to apologise for not being around much, my computer well and truly packed up, it needed to go and get fixed, very frustrating but hey these things happen, worrying thing is though that there is a good chance it will happen again as there is a problem with how the computer was built, argghhh, anyway i want to thank all of you who have stopped by my little corner of the web and thank you soo much for all of your wonderful comments, i love to read each and everyone of them, i hope to get around all of your blogs soon and leave some comments but you will have to bear with me as i am catching up with so much and i have to reinstall ALL of my computer programs etc as they were all wiped out, it was the only way to fix the computer, so i doubt i will be able to craft for another few days, although i do hope to get some photos up for you as i made a few cards a couple of weeks ago which i haven't shown yet, one of which is a Sugar Nellie design team card, i feel so guilty for not getting more of these done, but with being so busy and then the problems with the computer i haven't had a chance to do much crafting, so this week i will be busy getting things sorted and hopefully fingers crossed get some crafting done, i really cant wait to get back into my normal routine, see you all soon :)

Magnoila vs Stampavie challenge 16 - Lace and pearls

This week over on the Magnolia vs Stampavie blog the challenge is to use lace and pearls on your creations :), here is my take on the challenge :)

I am probably going to sound really big headed here but i don't care :), i love this card and its not often i can say that about my own creations, this card just came together perfectly for me and i had such a blast making it, even though i was and still am riddled with the cold, usually i spend ages picking papers and images etc but for some reason i knew exactly what i was going to do with this card, the gorgeous papers used on this card are from Designer Digitals and Pink Petticoat and the kits are called Asian Spring :) (Designer Digitals) and Big Bloomers (Pink Petticoat), i saw these gorgeous Designer Digitals papers being used on a fabulous creation by teamie Bev and just had to get them for myself :), the image i have used is the super cute Tilda in cross stictch dress which is another of my favourite magnolia stamps, i decided to try another technique on this card which i don't do very often and that technique was paper piecing, i paper pieced Tilda's dress with the same Pink Petticoat paper used on the scalloped circle, i love this look and i will definitely be using this technique allot more :), right i think i may have over ranted again sorry, List of materials used is below :)

An end to a great night

Well it seems the party is over now, boo hoo :(, i had tons of fun blog hopping to my fellow Design Team members blogs and oodling their creations, Clare has officially reveled the sneak peek cards which were designed by the wonderful DT , hope on over to there now and see for yourself the wonderful creations these ladies have designed, before you do though i thought i would show you mine and give you the run down on the products used :)

How cute is that butterfly, this gorgeous stamp is from the Doodles stamp set :)
I have coloured the butterfly with whispers stroke markers, i must admit i am not used to these pens and therefore am not happy with my colouring, but hey practice makes perfect and i will be getting lots of practice with them (not that mine will be perfect though ,but i can dream right hehe), i didn't take the pen straight to the image though, i coloured the pens onto my acrylic stamp block and used a koi water brush to "try" being the word and create a water coloured effect, not sure i achieved that though, i may have over done it a tiny bit, ok allot hehe, but again i will make sure to get lots of practice with this technique as i am dying to get it right, i refuse to be beaten hehe.
The papers used on the card are from Clare's Signature Range and the pack is called "The Big One", this pack is sooooo scrummy and can be used in both male and female cards, as the colours are turqoise, brown, black, redy pinky colour hehe (lets go with magenta on this one lol), and white, this MASSIVE pack contains 200 sheets of 12x12 papers in 10 designs and 5 colour ways , and whats better is that it's at the bargain price of £14.99, heck if i wasn't on Clare's DT i would sooo be buying this myself :) :), oh who am i trying to kid, i probably will buy it myself just so i have spares hehe

Lastly i used some of papermania's pink glitter brads, wow these are wonderful, you can get them in a range of colours (which i will probably end up getting lol), the packs have pearl, glitter glaze, glitter, diamante , velvet and plain brads in them and every one of them is gorgeous :)

wow ok i just noticed that i sounded like i was giving a sales pitch hehe, hmm maybe a job in advertising is my calling lol, well i said i would give a run down of the products etc used and that's what i did (although there was maybe a bit more ranting in there than you wanted hehe)

Right i think that's my rant over :), be sure to stop by the CCSR blog and my fellow Design team members blogs for inspiration and a description on their creations (although i doubt they will waffle on as much as i did hehe)

Night all
